The Institute of Food Technologists
IFT was founded in 1939, with the vision of creating and bringing together community of professionals involved in all disciples of food science and technology. The IFT community includes members from all around the world, representing fields in both the scientific and educational community, including food technologists and scientists, food engineers. R&D managers, executives, including sales and marketing, government regulators, educators, and students.
The Hawaii Section of IFT
HIFT is one of the 53 regional sections of the National Institute of Food Technologists organization. Chartered in 1956, it is one of the smaller sections of the IFT community
