SUN NOODLE. is seeking an intern for experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to be responsible for providing direct supervision to lab technicians, and serve as back up for the QA staff in all unexpected situations, including, but not limited to: conducting training on various QA topics; monitoring and sampling of packaging materials, food raw materials, and product sampling at various stages of production. Requires experience in performing bacterial inoculation on collected samples and related bacterial works; inspecting and testing retorted incubated products, and preparing aseptic apparatus and microbe nutrient agars.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist evaluating product yields for critical Entrée ingredients
- Assist on product evaluation to a compliance product
- Assist in Guest Relations (answer calls, correspondents, and emails)
- Support related departments, for example Product Development team, with tasks/projects as assigned
- Assist with preparation for food safety audits
- Input QA data and update QA reports by modifying and developing specifications
- Provide support with the Product Monitoring program
- Assist with vendor audits, photo shoots etc. as necessary
- Assist with any other tasks/projects as assigned

Food Safety & Quality Manager
Status: Exempt
Reports To: Regional FSQ Manager and dotted line reporting relationship with General Manager
Position Scope: Ensures compliance with all Good Manufacturing Procedures. Works with key personnel in the facility on quality assurance issues.

Position Scope: Ensures compliance with all Good Manufacturing Procedures. Works with key personnel in the facility on quality assurance issues.
Accountabilities:
- Passing and improving audit results related to Food Safety Quality.
- Achievement of corporate objectives for corporate policies and goals.
- Consistently set expectations and hold subordinates accountable to key duties and standards.
- Ensure all FSQ required standards are followed and verify documentation compliance
- Minimum of a B.S. Degree from a 4-year university 3-5 years of experience in the food industry Experience in a USDA facility a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Have working knowledge and understanding of food borne pathogens; methods of cleaning and sanitizing to minimize risks.
- Have working knowledge of HACCP concepts, MSDS sheets, government and industry FSQ codes and standards.
- Familiarize with company standards, practices, and procedures.
- Communicate FSQ requirements to various employee groups.
- Have ability to motivate and build a team Have good communication skills both written and orally.
- Conduct audits of vendor facilities and product ingredients.
- Conduct management training regarding FSQ requirements to ensure compliance.
- Reviews reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and corrective actions to resolve deficiencies; Ensure appropriate actions are taken on a timely basis.
- Support corporate efforts to facilitate uniform quality standards for food safety quality.
- Audit “Good Manufacturing Process” training and compliance for the facility.
- Oversee that FDA and USDA standard requirements are documented to maintain compliance. Regularly audit that sanitation requirements are maintained in all areas of the facility.

- The General Manager is charged with general oversight and leadership of all food and beverage operations, and in some cases, merchandising operations. He or she serves as the linchpin for communications, support and resource allocation to optimize unit profitability and meet the day-to-day operating budget.
- The General Manager will provide hands-on leadership to facilitate dining experiences that exceed guest expectations, while revenue is maximized and expenses are effectively controlled. The General Manager's highest priorities will be to ensure that Centerplate's standards for quality, service, timeliness, safety, security, sanitation and regulatory compliance are adhered to.
- The General Manager will plan and prepare for events and activities according to anticipated guest attendance and client expectations, will provide hands-on management and oversight, and will direct and support post-event activities, reconciliation and reporting.
- The General Manager will establish daily priorities and will direct the on-going activities of department heads in key functional areas such as administration, culinary production, hospitality, warehousing, sales, accounting and cash management to ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with client/partner specifications.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversees the procurement, production, preparation, service and sale of food and refreshments for all outlets within assigned units.
- Communicates and promotes Centerplate's culture and values; Provides hands-on leadership and direction department heads and staff.
- Ensures compliance with company standards, client specifications, contractual obligations, and other legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manages the financial performance of the venue through effective control of expenses and through the development, analysis and implementation of budgets, sales plans and forecasts.
- Participates in the recruitment, selection and training processes as needed for assigned unit.
- Identifies and responds to client and customer feedback and assists in escalated situations as necessary.
- Bachelors degree and/or appropriate combination of education and experience to support on-the-job effectiveness.
- A minimum of 5 years of previous senior leadership experience within a diverse, contract-managed food and beverage environment, to include successful management of a large staff and focus on exceptional client and customer service.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with significant past P&L responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and general workplace safety standards with knowledge of Health Department requirements.
- Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and divisions to accomplish tasks.
- Flexibility, ability to work extended or irregular hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts.
- Self starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously, and who can contribute to functional areas of the business outside of retail operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.
